Cinco de Mayo surf camp

Didn't take a whole lot of pictures. Too busy surfing, partying, & recovering to do all over again the next day.

Friday night was burgers, beer, tequila, s'mores, & Eric teaching Rob's young'ns how to make a rope torch. That's a needed skill ya know!

Had a killer sesh @ San Onofre on Saturday morning. Waves for everyone. When we got back to camp, we heard Ron & Moe were at San O also. Hope you got waves Ron. There were plenty when we were there. So bummed we missed you!

These pics are from our San O evening sesh. Mogs, Chris & myself went out for a dusk patrol. LOVE SAN ONOFRE!!!

And then of course the silliness begins as Colin & Joey show up to camp Saturday night. Even after a day and a half of vehicular trouble and mechanics, they still show up for the cinco de Mayo party.

And of course the Mega-moom was out on Saturday night.

What a great weekend. surfed Friday eve, Saturday a.m. & p.m. ,and then another dusk patrol sesh @ Tourmoline after I got home. I splept good last night!!!

OMG I am about to graduate UCSC. So ya'll better use THAT as an excuse to come shred SC June16th weekend!! We've got room for camping, etc! Hope to see you guys up here!! The house I am having the party is a couple blocks away from the ocean!

Got my first brand new board since 1983. 9-6 Takayama In the Pink. Such a fun longboard! I've ridden a couple before and fell in love with this model. Stoked to ride it this weekend!

8 1/2" + side bites so it turns very nicely for it's size, and noserides like a mutha.

I truly don't know how to put into words how to thanks each of you and describe the wonderful time I had this Saturday at Ojai, strongly supported by the lovin jungleland crew, and specially Mikey and Loree for organizing it. At time it was a bit surreal seeing Jeffe's candid presence , John (AKADexter) , Or the Ojai madcap laughing of the Rasputin of Colin. I can go on and on, with each of you. It was electric fun.

Love all you guys. Truly do.

Rumbling Continued

Wow! What a weekend. Thanks to all that showed up and let their hair down with us.

So I left the skate shots to the pros... This pretty much sums up the after math, including a baby rattler that Lucy killed Sunday morning. Thank God she was not hurt. She's a stone cold killer. Thanks again for the great time guys and gals. Until next time.

Rumble In Z Jungle Pics!

Another glorious weekend of surfing/skating/partying in the Jungle! Celebrating 5 birthdays and life in general, many came out and it was a grand time!

Camp Tahoe pulls into Hobsons early afternoon on friday. Miller and the kids showed up a couple hours later...

Only snapped one surf shot, Mr. Toft getting some! This is actually one of the smaller sets of the day, average size was about shoulder high with some sets going to 2-3 feet overhead. Lots of water moving......

And on to the Ojai skate park for Armando's new board release shindig.....Mondo and Cenen holding the new prized deck!

I hit Mondo's on the way home, some fun little waves. Got 3 from the outside all the way in....the 3 paddles back out was about all I could do after the night before ha....glorious day I know Colin got some down at County Line as well....

Getting Rock'd

So at Tourmaline, kind of in the cove, there is a pretty big rock that shows itself at real low tides. But at just kinda low tides, it sits quietly under the surface. We all know where it is & pretty much stay clear of it when the tide is low. We told our buddy Jay about the rock not long ago. Well two weekends ago Jay finally figured out exactly where the rock is. AND, he got it on video with his Go Pro.

No boards or surfers were hurt in the making of this video. Only a chipped up fin!
